its not the settled defense that will be the issue but rather the transitional, and can their mids handle it

They max out their 12 hours a week every week.
Four 3 hour practices a week since September 1.

Too much hype for SJC. The expectations will be a pressure cooker for that team. They will fall short and end up 3rd or 4th in DMV.

It will be interesting to see who SJC has step in for the 2 midfielders no longer on the team. They also have a couple players that are due back from injury. Not sure if those players will be on the field for the first few games. March 4th coming fast.

To their credit, the core 2022 of this SJC team has played together year round for many years, with a lot of club overlap, which is one of the reasons for their dominance. May play out similarly for the DC Dog/Prep 23 class once this SJC/Hawks 22 class graduates.

Is there anything like that dynamic in 24 or 25, with a dominant club team concentrated at one of the local privates? Or are they more dispersed?

Don’t see Prep within 7 of this SJC team.
