I am sure a bunch of Bethesda hating parents posting here. You are one of them. FYI, no Bethesda girls coaches are posting DCUM. That's absolutely ridiculous. Also, Bethesda has not been able to complete many games due to Montgomery County's excessive restrictions. Hard to make playoffs when you can't play games.
The 06s just tied the previous ECNL National Champions over weekend. Perhaps if Bethesda was in the Mid-Atlantic Conference, all of its teams would make it...I'm sure the 06 VDA team would agree. Loudoun 08s recently lost to Bethesda 08s at Jeff Cup. Mclean 08s are even worse. Toss up between Bethesda and Mclean 07s. The 05s are better than McLean. 04s would not make the playoffs if in Mid Atlantic. Nobody cares about Composite.
Now if you are a GA parent, well, you're a GA parent and have no future unless you play for FCV. If you're outside of GA, you really shouldn't even posting on this matter.
Your “facts” are not facts. A little reassessment is needed. Maybe a lot on a few points

The 05s will do well.; maybe playoff success, I expect the 04s to be about even. 03s below average. 07s well below average. 08s well below average but it is hard to gauge this age group. Just my guesses from a fairly well informed bsc parent. It is all age group dependent and depends on the skill of the kids not coaches

The 05 team is one of only two opponents that has scored on BSC this season. From what I heard, the PDA 05 team has a half dozen girls who have attended the YNT training camp. The U18/19 team has girls heading to UNC, Rutgers, South Carolina, ND, Yale, etc. The U17 has commits to places to similar schools. BSC is a competitive club but let's be realistic. The 05 and 06 teams are very competitive with PDA while the other age groups are not as competitive with PDA but will compete for a playoff spot.
But Kev, again, not a S-I-N-G-L-E goal scored all weekend by any BSC ECNL team - 07, 06, 05, 03, Composite. How is that even possible? PDA defense across all age groups are that good, or is BSC offense that bad?

You realize those PDA teams haven’t lost a game in years. 08s haven’t lost since going full 11v11. 07s haven’t lost since March 2019. 06s won ECNL championship in 2019 and haven’t lost a game since June 2019. 05s also won national championship in 2019 and haven’t lost a game in 4 years. 04s last lost in ECNL finals in July 2019. That’s a dominant club.
Bethesda girls teams just can’t compete against a club at that level. No shame in that.
One exception is the Bethesda 06 girls team. After winning Jeff Cup with impressive wins over World Class, VDA and FCV, they followed it up with a tie against PDA 06. Bethesda 06s may be the real deal nationally.
100% Correct. Imagine if the DMV had one dominant club where the best girls always went...
PDA sucks up NYC, and Northern Jersey. Also many players even drive from Connecticut and NW PA. It’s player pool is more than any club in our are can imagine.
Also should mention the top 2008 girl moved to PDA top team last year. I would say that is a compliment to Bethesda.
