I think the real concern is if they ever got Carly in that car they would screech off and never come back.

Mackenzie seems angry w/ him which I can get but she never really appeared to really want to be w/ him even before his drug use came out. More so like she is there for the airtime. Ryan also seemed genuine when he said he was sorry and didn't want to hurt her, his parents, Bentley or Maci. You could tell she did not like that he included Maci. lol

But why did Debra come backstage at a fashion show and suggest putting a (fake, I assume) tattoo on Sophia's forehead before she walked? That was the first time in my entire life I ever agreed with Farrah's annoyance at her mother. WTF was Debra thinking?!
Is it just me, or does Sophia seem ... simple? Like she wasn't stimulated enough as a baby. In almost every scene with her and Farrah, Farrah is putting words in Sophia's mouth and then prompting Sophia to agree with her. "Sophia thinks...", "Sophia says ..." "Sophia wants ..." "Right, Soph?" This poor, poor child. She is so outrageously messed up.
It made me sad to see Ryan and McKenzie bathing a dog together. I doubt Ryan ever bathed Bentley.

He didn’t go on about - that’s MY kid; or she called me dad; or perceived slights from Brandon and Teresa. Cate OTOH who previously was just thankful to see Carly seemed more unhinged — saying I can tell she misses her? Um — no you can’t bc you don’t know this 9 yr old, you don’t know her behaviors and feelings and I’m fairly confident she views B&T as her mom and dad and you’re just extended family, not the other way around. And then Cate acted all slighted that she asked B&T to hang with them at the beach bc they were staying all week. Uh - I think the “most” they owe you is one hour or few hours long a yr to see Carly. They aren’t obligated to let you see her one week per yr bc you’ve decided to make the meeting point into your vacation destination. Seems like Tyler cares less now — maybe it’s bc he had another kid so that pretty much “replaces” Carly in his mind and gives him someone else to focus on.
Well you can't tell how the little girl feels just by a reality TV show.
Adoption is a real loss and as an adoptive parent, I don't doubt that Carly does miss them at times. It's natural and normal that she would.
I think Brandon and Therese were just like you - very naive - when they started out and believed that they could "love away" and hurts or bad feelings about adoption but it's not possible.
I think Catelynn and Tyler's reactions are also completely normal and over the years will continue to evolve. The grief of adoption is more like a process not a one time thing.
Maybe Carly misses the IDEA of what she thinks Tyler and Cait should have become. Especially since they're now parents to a second child. They gave her away because they weren't stable and were too young to raise a child. Now they're (in Carly's mind) stable and Nova proves they're able to raise a child. She may wonder why they haven't taken her back. She may wonder why Nova hasn't been given to Brandon & Theresa. Hopefully B&T are navigating these issues with Carly well.

Maybe that’s just on camera or maybe that’s because they only talk baby to her but I am not sure Farrah would know if there were special needs to be addressed. That would require her to look beyond herself.
