Crossfield now want a magnet school so they don’t get sent to KAA. Pathetic.

9 or 10 school board members disagree with you there.

They might but there is a desire for more of that sort of program.

Why aren’t they voting on programming next week then if a traditional school would be nearly an unanimous vote?

And, now, it looks like they are going to once again, ignore the need of the area around the school.

Sad. Herrity putting out FAIRFACTS talking points had an effect.

No matter that the talking points are inaccurate.

We know who is pushing this.

What are you talking about? They bought the school, they are going to open it. I think it's just going to open in two years, not next year, because they realized they are rushing the process. I think this is a good thing.

I think PP is concerned of it becoming a magnet school. There is no reason to delay to vote for the programming. Even Meren's earlier email said the vote was still on.

The only change is that some Crossfield parents joined GF parents + FairFacts + Herrity, calling for a magnet school.

They will regret it.

The board or the people advocating for the school to be a magnet?

Exactly, even if they open the school in two years there is no reason to delay the programming decision unless the board wanted more time to examine options.

Dragging out kids in overcrowded schools for another two years is a good thing?

Is this perhaps a cold feet situation where the board now is wanting to spend more time contemplating a potential magnet school after getting the community unnecessarily spun up? Sad for the kids in overcrowded schools.

Oh please, just stop.

Stop asking questions? People can have a conversation. So your take is the pause is to allow the boundary review to happen prior to restarting conversions on the Western High School, okay. Why the removal of the programming decision? A genuine inquiry
