Israel is attacking terrorists. Sadly, those terrorists and their rocket launchers could very well be hidden in areas near civilians. If civilians have knowledge of Hezbollah leaders or militants in their area, they might want to get away…

If Hamas and Hezbollah give up their crusade to eliminate Israel, America, and the West, stop fighting, etc.., then the war ends. If Israel stops fighting, then the terrorists win. It’s a no win situation, bad all around…but American Jewish people really aren’t the primary concern of those living in a growing war zone.

The hostages are mostly dead. They aren’t likely coming home. When Hamas kidnapped them, they never planned to negotiate and return them. They had amassed an arsenal of weapons thanks to Iran and were coordinating with Hezbollah (who fired on Israel within 24 hours of the kidnappings)—again, thanks to Iran.

In short: this is a complicated mess.

My two cents: israel has gone all in to do their best to disrupt Iran’s puppets because they have worrisome intel—and because they’ve made good progress eliminating some leaders and many militants…which ultimately makes Israel and the region safer.

The other Arab nations couldn’t care less about Gaza—it’s just a pawn in Iran’s game. Lebanon is more complicated: the good people of Lebanon want a modern, functional society…not a religious extremist society led by terrorists at the beck and call of Iran. I think the good Arab nations are covertly supporting Israel to quash Hezbollah.

Anyway, I wish everyone would just be cool. I struggle to wrap my head around why anyone would support religious extremism, terrorism, and the lack of equality and human rights (particularly for women).
