Well, considering they only started the girls academy program a few months ago, I’d say this is the starting line. Rev’s GA teams are brand new in 2024. None of the coaches or players were with Rev before 2024. And none of the players who were with Rev before 2024 are part of the GA teams. What happened is more akin to a acquisition than growth of their program. Rev acquired the majority of the GA program from FCV. We’ll see in years how that works out.


This is laughable. Over the summer the tune everyone was humming was that Revolution would be competitive since the majority of the GA teams and girls came over from St James and they were established teams. They got handled by VDA and now we're preaching patience😂

And yet FCV who starts new too with new team dynamics isn’t allowed the same grace? Make sure you’re not in a glass house before you throw stones broskies.

Not throwing stones just calling it as I see it from the outside of both houses. TSJ is in quite a different situation. VRSC is starting a GA program that is already maybe 60% there. After losing their GA program to a hostile takeover, TSJ is really starting over from zero with all new players and coaches. Their experiment will take more than a couple of years.

Thanks. We were not aware that VRSC had to buy their placement in the league and also buy out competition. Will they also buy out players? Current GA teams are bordering the 25 player roster…

CC overestimated VRSC and underestimated VDA. Bp and cc ran from VDA for years.

Score line does not tell the story of that game. Neither do the other scores though. These games are all closer than you might think based off the scores.
