If this drags on into the weekend, I have to believe the Democrats will try and get with the moderate Republicans and put forward a consensus candidate.

Honestly, I think this government might function better if we do have a coalition government in the house

This is a good question. Anyone know the answer? Doesn't the Republican Conference meet to vote on committee chairs and members?


+2 on this question. I've been reading online but haven't found a clear answer. Would love to hear other's thoughts on this....
