I'm a Cristina supporter. She seems to be the only progressive who knows anything about education. Who should be my second choice? I'm leaning towards Terron because of his support for apprenticeship programs with unions.

I assume you mean Terron, but how do you know he even did anything? Did the OSC actually release his name as the person who reported her or is this just what you heard? And, besides, what really happened to Symone anyway? She's still in the race and now she's definitely on the ballot in the general election. Nobody could get her kicked out of the caucus if there wasn't a legal reason for it and, in this case, there is a very clear legal reason: she was violating Hatch.

So if someone reports Kellyanne Conway to OSC for violating the Hatch Act, even when in fact she was violating it, should we feel sorry for her because someone reported that she was breaking the law? Why would you want elect someone who either knowingly violated the law or didn't do enough diligence to ensure that she wasn't? I know she apparently got a letter from her agency, but (1) she has never produced it so we don't even know if it exists and (2) that reported advice runs counter to everything that feds are taught about the Hatch Act. Symone has been a federal government attorney for 2 decades, for God's sake. She either knew or should have known that the Hatch Act wasn't going to allow to participate. If she wasn't sure, she should have gone to OSC, who is the ONLY agency with jurisdiction over Hatch Act determinations. If she is so reckless/careless with her own personal matters, then how can we trust that she won't be similarly reckless/careless about SB matters? She is not the victim in this situation.

My guess is that Priddy made some ACDC enemies when he challenged Reid last time around. ACDC usually doubles down on incumbents. Remember, they stuck with endorsing Lander against O'Grady in 2017, even after Lander was taking heat for some terribly sexist comments that he made on a radio show about the UVA student who was killed by her boyfriend. I know many teachers who were not happy with the AEA about that decision.

Hardly. They won’t back him because he didn’t fundraise for the right people or put in his time working on other campaigns. That’s what matters to the party. You give and then you get. The least informed is a tie between Steven, who is narrowly focused on Key and has only gotten support from that one community, and Terron, who doesn’t know some very basic things that APS is and has been doing (anyone on the gifted list serve knows what I’m taking about).

Priddy wasn’t my preferred candidate last time, but I really think he worked hard over the last year to get up to speed and to demonstrate he wasn’t just a grudge candidate. Also, as much as I don’t like NVD from a personality standpoint (her abrasive and curt manner can be a bit much), I concede she gets sh** done and knows her stuff. If he was such a mess, she’d never endorse him.
