But he has had a stellar reputation in the lacrosse world for a long time, so you sound like a parent whose son didn't make the team or is somehow not achieving his goals. And, as somebody else noted, this is tangentially related (at most) to VLC. So if you want a dialogue on the PVI coach, go ahead and start a thread with that in the title. My guess is that the good feedback will outweigh the bad by far. Best of luck to you and your son.

It seems like Ireton has done good job with Top Caliber in building up to respectability. I wonder if O'Connell can do same with VLC, which seems to be improving now that they finally started younger teams and are getting back to where they were 5 years ago.
They have about a minute to do that b/c the majority of VLC kids 2025 and under are from Loudoun, south Ashburn mostly, so they will go to the publics around PVI as well as PVI.
Agreed, loudoun kids aren’t going to commute into O’Connell; traffic is a nightmare.

Too bad PVI HC sucks. PVI should have way more hardware in view of all the talent that they have had over the years. Until he moves one, PVI destined to remain at that second level behind Gonzaga, GP, St Johns, etc. They don't need a lacrosse ambassador as HC.
