My Mac sophomore only took three year of foreign language in HS. But be aware that the college has a language requirement (2 years' proficiency), so if they don't have enough ability from HS to take an exam to pass that level (two years of college language), your student would have to take a language at some point at Macalester. Mine didn't mind and actually started a new language in college.

They did take APs in HS math, science, and English.

I just want to say that I'm so impressed by all of these kids!

It’s just outside NYC so not bitterly cold and weather that only varies slightly from the DC area.

DD accepted ED to Northwestern (Medill/Journalism)!!

DC received the same email this week, I assumed that they sent to everyone who applied RD? Would be interesting if not…
