Hi Anonymous!
Joe Morice here, the goalie's father. You'll notice I'm including my actual name.
Let's get something straight - Madison played a great, complete game last night. They did play physically, and you know what, it's a contact sport.
I believe our daughter played well. She had 12 saves against a well designed Madison offense. Perfection is unattainable, right, but all things considered she played hard and she's got a million times more guts than you do.
Madison played a good game and they won.
As to your comment, this is our family's first post here. My wife and I generally avoid this thread (I heard about your comment from someone else) because we have a little less than zero respect for anonymous commenters, yourself included.
As to your opinion of our daughter as a player, I'll be working the grill Saturday at Centreville all day, come find me. I'm 5' 8", a cosmetically not awful 246, and am 48 years old with an acceptable but not too bad amount of gray.
Come by. We're making burgers, hot dogs, breakfast burritos, and a barbecue platter! Fingers crossed the rain holds off.
You can also reach me at my phone number below.
See you Saturday!

I’m 6 2” 240 grey hair also and with another team playing Saturday I’ll gladly stand by you but I know the anonymous poster doesn’t have the balls to face you. Sorry buddy this is no place to single out individuals and I was at that game. Your daughter made some amazing saves. As a sophomore she had composure and grit in such a big game!

I want to know more about this barbecue platter in case I go and if Joe can help livestream all the games for us (since the NFHS cameras at CV are crap) in case I don't.
And I think the CV goalie is doing an admirable job this year given the situation of being thrust into full time work (IYKYK).
Anonymous wrote:Joe why did you remove your post saying centreville goalie was crushing it and blaming her teammates for the L?
I’m guessing you realized that wasn’t the best idea for team and family chemistry within.

Battlejunk isn’t beating anyone other than the garbage in their weak region.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Physical? I think there was one card. You all make this stuff up. Does anyone else that watched that game and think it was physical?
A physical game can be played without fouls or cards. The draw circle was intense and physical- both teams fought hard and used their bodies. That was my point.
