Yup. She was immediately befriended by a girl squad because they saw her reading a book by herself. Sure Jen. Sure. She really needs some fresh material. How about she wax and wane about what it is to actually feel loneliness instead of this body shaming material? She’d never dare admit she was lonely. In her narrative, she always has to be found by strangers wherever she is and they always have to be shocked she’s by herself. It’s because Jen herself is shocked she’s by herself.

Just like Rachel Hollis and Glennon Doyle she pretended to be so down to earth and relatable years ago, but the ultimate message turned into gospel of selfishness.

They also are so strange about sexuality. Rachel Hollis needed us to know she was making out with Dave on a regular basis and having this amazing sex life, but turns out they were on the verge of divorce and he ends up self destructing with drugs and alcohol. I don't recall Jen ever talking sex until she was divorced and now she is obsessed with it and yet I doubt she gets any from her "boyfriend" who does not seem remotely attracted to her. Glennon seemed to hate sex and then she met Abby and it took years before she actually identified as a lesbian rather than something like "my sexuality is Abby" and she has podcasts that talk about intimacy and yet I just don't get the sense she has any interest in an act where you let go and lose control. I get the sense Abby meant status and more followers for her and someone she hoped she could control. Jen definitely is not in control in her love life I suspect that drives her nuts.

Just hope she realizes she’s the cliche in this scenario.

Yes he has given her gold roses when they met, doc martens when the cookbook came out, and a weekend getaway (that she requested with specifics) last Christmas. Those are the only 3 i remember her mentioning. OH and he once bought the kind of coffee creamer that she likes when she came to visit him because he is A-MAZ-ING like that.

I’m sure she’s wearing that ring to make herself seem less desperate while she’s on her lonely vacation.

Has Tyler ever given Jen a gift? I can’t remember any, and you know she’d post about it if he did. For her birthday, holiday? She provides the trips so it’s not that. Just curious..

It’s super sad to use one’s milestone 50th birthday as a vehicle for a cash grab, celebrate with a bunch of total strangers on a boat. It sounds so draining and empty. All the worst of influencer culture on a boat with day old ceviche and stale tortilla chips and sugary watered down cocktails in a plastic cup. The forced joy dancing with the carted in DJ is something SNL could have made hay with like 5 years ago.

Don’t you think that a better and way healthier 50th birthday celebration would be a small, quiet private celebration with one’s dearest friends and family?

I turn 50 next year and I’ll be damned if it will invoke any strangers on boats and pleas for Venmo payments.
