I think too many people are making too big a deal out of families’ personal decisions for their kids, whether it is holding back or transferring.

Specific to the transferring, I just don’t see it as so nefarious as implied on this board. I have witnessed the conversations at the club level. These kids play together all summer and fall and they try to convince their better club teammates to transfer to their high schools. Kids from all local schools make the pitch. Every once in a while a kid pursues a better opportunity for himself. So what?

I get the optics of the problem on three IAC schools in 3 years but doesn't at least some portion of the blame rest with the schools too?

the IAC will make history this spring with a player now who has played lacrosse at 3 different HS in the league.

Despite what people say about the WCAC, while it's not perfect, the league does try to enforce rules.

I realize certain kids need to transfer if a school isn’t a fit. But it seems like a previous posted was mostly talking about transferring to get a 5th year of high school eligibility. That has nothing to do with ‘fit’ of their previous school.

You will be okay at episcopal, but PVI is in the WCAC so they may have different rules.
