Damn, Girl! I think I said that about 5 times tonight.

Arya - about to bring a whole lot of whoop-ass down on the world, one death at a time.

Cercie - damn girl! Post episode commentary hit was I was thinking - the only thing that kept her sane was her kids.

Dani - lots of talk of her pending marriage.... And smooth move on the hand of the queen announcement. Being backed by a lannister will give her some street cred.

Sansa - that whole king of the north scene made me think there's going to be a betrayal between her and Rob. No bets on who will be left standing, but LF probably has John's death already planned out.

More likely they'd just go to a southern, non-British part of Ireland

HBO released a statement on Friday. It's fine, and on track for its scheduled last season(s).

In other news: holy shit, season finale!!!!

Annulled.

Yes, bc their marriage was never consumated.

Is this just in the books? Or can someone indicate when/where this happened in the show.

It was discussed by Lord Bolton before Ramsay's marriage to Sansa.

It seems pretty clear Cersei is going to try and burn down the Sept during her trial (or instead of going to her trial). I think that will be the "main event" of the evening.

In the books, Sansa does not marry Ramsay. Her friend does, pretending to be Arya.

"By the law of the land she's no man's wife" is a turn of phrase. It's not a legal decision.

From the show -

BAELISH: (They begin walking). I assure you she's still a virgin. Tyrion never consummated the marriage. By the law of the land, she's no man's wife. Inspect her, if you must.

ROOSE: I leave that to the brothel keeper. It's her name I need, not her virtue.

BAELISH: Then I have delivered everything I've promised.

ROOSE: And you prepared for the consequences. When the Lannisters hear I've wed Sansa Stark to Ramsay...

BAELISH: The Lannister name doesn't mean what it once did. Tywin is dead. He kept his house in power through sheer will. Without him, Jaime has one hand and no allies, Tommen is a soft boy, not a king to fear.

ROOSE: The Queen will be enraged.

BAELISH: Queen Margaery adores Sansa. Cersei is Queen Mother, a title whose importance wanes with each passing day.
