Interesting list and great opportunities!

May I ask how Oregon landed on your kid’s list? I’ve heard some kids talking about it and wondering if it’s trending up or how kids from my area (MoCo) are hearing about it.

It is my alma mater and my DD loves their football team.

Congrats on BU! DC was accepted to BU CFA as well in ED last year. Had similar options in the visual arts space. BU is a great fit. No regrets.

BU emailed DC, inviting them to move their application up to ED2 from RD. Saw this as a positive sign, and DC also focused on art (performing).

Would you mind sharing stats? I have a junior who's very interested in BU. Big congrats to your DD!

Don’t choose MICA. They have serious financial and organizational issues. Congrats

Not true anymore. The new MICA president as of last year is terrific and has cleaned house, made lots of progress on both fronts.

DC also accepted EA at Macalester, $30k merit/yr, 1370, very well rounded application in my biased opinion), AP, activities, MoCo public. Very excited since we didn’t do ED and now can wait to see how the others play out.

NP here, my kid was also accepted at Oregon last night, 10k/yr merit and I believe she saw it on Tik Tok (sigh). BTW they have a really odd calendar if anybody hasn't looked at it yet.

Congrats! I was impressed with their communication to parents.

DC got into their ED and withdrew before seeing the Mac EA result. DC said they made it really easy to withdraw by just sending a link via email with a reminder to do so if accepted somewhere else ED.
