Does anybody watch Mark Halperin on Bloomberg's "With all Due Respect"? Whitman Grad - from B-town.

It is one of the few shows where I can listen to Dems talking with Dems about Dems and really learn something. (OK, so obviously I am not a Dem and of course they interview some Pubs.)

I love it that a Whitman grad was suspended from his talking head gig for saying that 'Obama was kind of a dick.' - referring to a specific news conference. He shows the good ole Whitman chutzpah!!!

I went to a restaurant (Birch and Barley....highly recommend) on 14 St downtown with my wife, my daughter and her boyfriend and boyfriend's parents Saturday night. We walked around 14th St and stopped in at a bar afterwards. Wonderful vibe. Can you imagine taking your wife and daughter to 14th St when I was in high school (no wife or kids then of course) back in 1977? That place was a grimy red light district.

What a nice change.

DH and I grew up here. When we give directions to each other the Trolly Car Pizza is often a point of reference. Down Ga Ave, a few blocks past Trolley Car. Friends who are listening have no idea what we're talking about. We also use Juvenile Sales as a reference point. And the other day I had to tell him to pick the kids up at Wheel A While. I tried giving him directions to Bounce U but he wasn't getting it. I told him Wheel A While and he needed no further instruction.

So funny!
