Thicker accents are more common among lower class or blue collar people. This is consistent across all states and even countries.

We’re 3 weeks in to an 8 week trial. For people who follow closely there have been developments, like yesterday’s video of Higgins at the police station in the middle of the night. If you’re waiting for a verdict, check back in June. The prosecution hasn’t rested their case and the defense has a long roster of witnesses.
Can someone give more context? Was this not known during the first trial? Did Jackson bring this out on cross?
So what did the Higgins video show? Are we discussing it or just making vague references?
Him at the police station but not moving cars like he said. And to me it looked like he switched hoodies.
Also, talking on his phone.
Was it at a "butt dial" time?

Wait, for real?
Yes, for real. She has done it repeatedly but Friday was over the top - it's all over X and Court TV and the reporters IN THE COURTROOM verified it is very obviously intentional.

Also Karen Read's daddy, Bill Read, former dean of Bentley University, was acting so inappropriately in court Friday making faces at witnesses and trying to engage jurors through facial expressions that the judge mandated a court officer sit right next to him like a babysitter to keep him from engaging in indecorous behavior in the courtroom. The entire afternoon he was babysat by a female court officer sitting right up next to him.
