I have no idea, but I’m sure the jury will have access to this information. They will be the deciders. Not us.

Great news! I'm glad people are coming out in droves to show their support. Notable on the list of donors are Vivek Ramaswamy and Kid Rock.
It's quite telling about the mindset of people who support Penny's actions when you look at who they're aligning themselves with...
This is the thing you’re missing entirely. Most of the people who point out that at this time a murder charge wouldn’t have been appropriate, don’t ‘support Penny’s actions.’ We support a charge of manslaughter, we appreciate that Neely should be alive, and we ALSO appreciate the essay linked pages ago by John McWhorter describing the ACTUAL experience of being trapped in transit, being targeted, being very much in fear of grievous harm and worse.
You’re trying to lump everyone into one necessarily racist perspective because that’s how you analyze everything. But not everyone is irrational, like you.
1. I said nothing about race.
2. If you support a manslaughter charge, then don't give money to support Penny. Let the case play out without interference.

What's telling is that moderates and liberals, who are very split on Penny's actions, are willing to say so anonymously (both here on DCUM and in many other places) but aren't willing to put their names out there in support of Penny.

Good point.
We seem to live in a totalitarian state, where people are afraid to share their views.

Anonymous wrote:I think you retreat within the car. A metro train lets people get off at regular, short intervals so the analogy with a plane doesn’t work. I’ve posted a few times on this thread. I don’t think it was unreasonable for the marine to try to subdue Neely based on the facts currently known. I’m curious to find out if most of the 911 calls were made before or after Penny’s intervention, and what other passengers that witnessed everything have to say.

Are those the notable donors? Only conservatives? No moderates or liberals?
