Look. Is very easy to tell when someone calls the paparazzi to get shots of them and when photos appear online organically, Blake called the paparazzi for this one.

Paparazzi has changed dramatically in the past 10 years with social media. You can’t make nearly as much for a picture because we are flooded with pictures of celebrities posting themselves online and every time there is an event and celebrities are there, instead of just having a few outlets, we now have hundreds of outlets online posting, so those of us who are even remotely interested in pop culture are flooded with celebrities all the time. So they aren’t just standing around waiting to see a famous celebrity in New York to get a grainy, crappy, most likely unflattering photo that people don’t care about and doesn’t sell. What they will do is set up for a sure thing. You can clearly tell that this photo was strategically set up.

There are tons of celebrities who live in New York, who don’t get papped but there are some that like the attention - Blake and Ryan are known to have a really good relationship with a couple of them and tell them when they are going to be coming out of their apartment or walking around New York. This is well known. It’s really not that big of a deal, except it’s a little bit sad and pathetic, but they are celebrities who went into this business for this kind of attention so there you go.

Lively supporters have made fun of Baldoni too when he's snapped going to Hawaii with his family. They accused him of calling the paps (which he probably did) to rejuvenate his image and seem innocent. Before Heather McDonald became a supporter, that was one of her biggest accusations. There's plenty of criticisms to go around.

I’ll say it here first—Blake Lovely is an oddball. Oddball in that she thinks she’s cool, but she’s actually very dorky and a bad dresser.

Taylor is more nerdy. She goes glam nerd and cute nerd, but she’s not the popular girl and knows it.

Taylor got into trouble trying to hang with an oddball who used Taylor’s popularity to score points for her. And Taylor got burned.

I think Blake’s supporters seem to have a real problem with her being held accountable for her actions. When you do the things Blake has done, it’s going to draw a public reaction. You don’t just get to go about your day doing publicity stunts at donut shops and pap walks and expect the same public adoration you’ve grown accustomed to. I think this is a big reality check for Blake and her relatively few “supporters” (most of whom I believe are supporting what they think she represents while overlooking the glaring issues with her claims). To the extent that she still has “fans” it’s because the vast majority of people simply aren’t paying attention to this at all. Those who are appear to be overwhelmingly team Justin. Ray Charles could see that.

So to be clear, you think her punishment for whatever it is you think she's guilty of is that if she walks from a building to a car within sight of other people, she deserves to have her clothes, general appearance, facial expression, and intentions in making said walk ripped apart online? You think that is how we hold people accountable in society when we as individuals (not courts of law, Lively has not been found guilty of anything) decide someone is a bad person who has done bad things?

So for those of us who believe Lively and think Baldoni is in the wrong here, we should start making fun of his hair, his clothes, his wife and children, the expressions he makes, assuming everything he does has an ulterior motive and that nothing he does is genuine or innocent or even neutral? Is that the solution?
