No field players that were denied DA spots were offered any level of ECNL spot. Sometimes a good goalie is hard to find for girls. Spirit certainly has its own goalie issues - and the lack of any meaningful goalkeeper program means that won't change any time soon.
Spirit has some excellent goalkeepers. Either of their 04s could start on any other competitive team in the region, DA or ECNL.
These are the delusional Spirit posts. I know for certain that neither spirit 04 GK would make the roster, let alone start, at VDA, McLean, Arlington, FCV and most likely BRYC as well. And there may be many more places they wouldn’t start. Complete delusion.
They would definitely start over the current BRYC 04 keeper. I've seen her play. She's average. BRYC has struggled in a goalie for that team. The players themselves are better than the scoreline precisely because of that.

Isn’t that what was being done to the 04 Spirit keepers with all of the comments about them not being good enough? Seems like your outrage comes a little late. Everyone all of these whacko parents are talking about on this thread is a child. Maybe everyone should remember that.

The 04 keepers are good and to say otherwise is silly.
The comment was that EITHER would START at ANY club in the are including all DA and ECNL clubs. THAT is silly.

What is the current vibe among the 06 ECNL players at BRYC under the new management? Are they looking to follow Larry Best to Spirit or stay put with “Miley”?
They may not have a choice, Miley is known for kicking girls to the curb who can't help him build his resume...
Are you saying an ECNL Director at one of the top soccer clubs in the area cuts players that are not good enough, this is shocking news, how dare he![]()
This is maybe why the training environment at Braddock is far superior to that of WS. All teams are in playoffs.
Oh boy the playoffs....
And miley got all those teams there by himself...
No, what im saying is if your kid cant him build his resume...he has no use for them and will treat them that way...
Seems odd, kids are usually cut because they are bringing the team down in games and training, a good coach will move those players on so the team does not suffer.
Resume building also seems odd, the guy is like mid 20s and ecnl Director at one of the areas top clubs. Making decisions for the betterment of your team/club is not resume building it is doing his job.
