I could really see it going either way for her, where she either finds her footing in Europe and spends so much time working on causes that she finds legitimacy there; or, she's basically handed the mantle Jen had to wear all those years of "when will she find someone?" and the stain will follow her for the rest of her life.
She's playing the hard game to look like she's taking the high road. Think about all of the people/services she must have secured that we don't know about? That Olivia Pope move was bold, but still consistent with wanting to protect her children from an ugly divorce.
Who's getting her first interview? Oprah? Katie Couric? The BBC on some refugee children's campaign? Another independent movie? She may skip the post-divorce talk altogether.
Not a fan of Jolie and, but for the welfare of her kids, I hope all this blows up in her face.
But I'm totally icked by the mere idea of "when will she find someone" as the primary ID for any woman.
Jolie tried to hamstring the father of her children out of custody in the most underhanded way and made it public. That's a pretty nasty stain right there.
She is trying to recreate herself as a prominent European Statesperson in the future...
I think the crazy train is so far out of the building. I doubt she'll recover from any of this. Plus, there's the age thing. At least she has $.
Agreed. And I don't think anyone is going to be wondering when she'll find someone. She isn't getting the wronged woman tag that stuck to Jen.

Not really. She was notorious for being a 'home wrecker'. She thought that if she and Brad lived happily ever after she changed her image to 'maligned true love story'.
Didn't work out that way and she didn't want the divorce to prove that this wasn't some true love story, that if Brad cheated with her that he could also cheat on her. She didn't want to be that girl that people would say told ya so to.
So she concocts this big scheme to throw Brad under the bus and make herself look like the Mommy Martyr for her children, not the home wrecker that should have known better.
Sad really. She should have just divorced amicably for the sake of the children not for the sake of saving face, instead this whole plotted out plan of hers has backfired on her and she now needs a Fixer to clean up her mess.

Anonymous wrote:Is this the only Brad and Angelina divorce thread in this forum? You guys heard the Melissa Etheridge song about getting called by Angie's fixer, didn't you? It was on Watch What Happens Live last week--pretty easy to Google search.
The latest, besides a release by the FBI that they are not going to bring any charges against Pitt, is that Angelina is sending threatening letters out to various celebrity gossip sites and shows trying to shut down the chatter. She's sent letters to Entertainment Tonight and Perez Hilton.
