Sorry, Amber did look bad in the episode. She's dating a guy with grown children. The grown children are able to voice an opinion to their dad without his girl friend flying off the handle.

Was there some falling out between Ryan and his dad in this episode? Must not have watched all of it bc I didn’t catch it — I know there was a falling out previously 1-2 seasons ago where he kicked Ryan out of the house and said he didn’t care if he saw him again while the mom cried. Honestly it seems like the dad tries to lay down the law while the mom keeps enabling her baby by any means possible. Dad saw he was a user, mom was and is in total denial and blames it on things like - Maci doesn’t let him see his son enough. Right bc for 80% of his sons life, when he has the son, he plays with him for 10 min and then hands him to you to deal with.

I feel like Ryan has talked about how his dad was when he was growing up--that he was over involved in Ryan's activities. I think Drew asked Ryan about skipping Bentley's baseball practices/games, and Ryan said he didn't think it was a big deal because his dad was at everything and he didn't like it. Sounded like his dad smothered him or pressured him to be involved in sports that Ryan didn't like or want to do. Ryan seems like a guy who just wants to be left alone to do his own thing. Of course, I could be completely reading this wrong, so who knows.

At one point, Ryan stole and sold his dad's tools for drug money. That was the big fallout earlier, and the reason you see giant locks on Larry's garage. But that was never discussed on camera, so maybe it's part of "the truth" that will come out?

Amber apparently had a drug problem (and when thru teeatment for it as part of prison) but looked at venues with alcohol and drinks herself. Lets not ever talk about amber's "ex fiancé"

I don't think this bodes well for staying clean for any of them.

Meanwhile, Debra looked awful. She almost can't move anything but her upper jaw when she is talking. The rest of her face is frozen.

At the weirdo dinner with Amber & her family & Gary and Christina she’s the only one drinking - everyone else has soda or iced tea.

I wonder if it is some type of accusation of Maci and/or Tyler also using some type of drug or drinking too much. It seems Ryan's dad is wanting to deflect some of the serious issues Ryan has. While his mom on the other hand seems to lean more in Maci's favor but doesn't want to say too much to go against the family which is why she may have walked away during the conversation of Ryan trying to get along with Maci.

I actually thought that Debra's face looked better than it had in the past. Her hair looked too long, though.
