Can you please share the scores

WISC V FSIQ = 140
NNAT = 127
CogAT = 127
GBRS = 11

And the school was primarily asking us to keep DD there because it affects the number of teachers they get. They specifically said even plus 1 or 2 kids in a grade can make a difference.

Good score PP - since the school is contacting for numbers, does it mean that numbers/filling slots are a factor in making appeal decision by committee. I thought this was based on purely scores, looking at student portfolio as whole.

Thanks for sharing. It just seems like these schools who are contacting parents before they get the letter aren't following protocol. Have you decided whether to send your child to the center school? Our local school is a center anyway, so it's not an issue for us.

I think schools must have notified the status of the appeals. Not sure if we can call the school.

What do you mean "they did not pick up"?

NP here: you seriously do not understand what this means?

Yes, I'm serious, they didn't pick up means, 1) did not finish the screening? 2) did not send the letter out? 3) did not decide? or 4)......

OMG. They did not pick up the phone. What planet are you from?

I think some schools try to build their local level IV programs and try to keep as many kids as possible so they don't have to fill the class with level III principal placements.
