She ordered an Uber at 5:32pm to go to her daughter’s home for dinner the night she disappeared. Has that Uber driver been located and spoken to by cops? Maybe he circled back to Nancy’s home at 2am with some buddies after finding out from friendly Nancy that she’s loaded and Savannah’s mother.

If I was Savannah I would hire security guards to watch my kids and hubby.

I know this because I watch a lot of it - a lot of commentators interviewing politicians, retired politicians, academics, law enforcement professionals, current and former military, mental health professionals, physicians, economists, businesspeople, everyday Americans etc. about the many manifestations of our national crisis. There is so much coverage and so much sounding the alarms - rightly so - that sometimes I have to tune out because it’s overwhelming.

Stop acting like nobody is covering that. It’s so much in our faces - as it should be - that a story about a little old lady getting snatched by kidnappers is some kind of weird reprieve. It’s marginally better than watching our fellow citizens executed on the streets of Minneapolis because maybe, just maybe, Nancy Guthrie comes home alive.

Until tonight almost every newscast has started with this story including local news. I think mostly because they feel it’s one of their “family members” suffering.

Cna’s, nurses, housekeepers would never do this. They have too much to lose and do these jobs to feed their families not for funsies. They’re also predominately female jobs. This screams male crime

I think the kidnappers meant to take her for ransom, somehow she died unintentionally and now they are trying to decide what to do.
