Interesting to listen to her for 2 hours. She has great chemistry with Travis (obviously) AND Jason. You can tell they are all close.

Next - I want to hear her on Kylie's podcast.

"can we not do that right now?" Sooo Kylie.

What does it say about her though that she had to settle for a simpleton like him and couldn’t keep any of her smarter boyfriends around?

He's not a simpleton, his mind works differently. He's an athlete, but he plays very smart. It's a skill to read people, situations and adapt. There are many ways to be intelligent without being a literary genius.

Book smart is not the only smart.

+1 he excels at what he does and has the ambition to branch out and successfully market himself (even the podcast is an example). Obviously way more successful by any metric than the vast majority of DCUMers.

Dear Anonymous,

They aren’t slagging you they are slagging Travis. He WANTS his name out there for money. And he can handle the heat otherwise why post those tweets?

+1 There are so many different types of intelligence. I'm dyslexic, and I'm sure I often come across as unintelligent and not well spoken or quick witted because of my processing delays. However, I'm a math wiz and have close to a photographic memory. My husband is also dyslexic, but is an extremely successful engineer. He's never read a book for pleasure in his life, but is so smart in other ways.

Also, maybe for once, she wants someone who is supportive, fun, and mentally healthy to be around. Joe and Matty both had mental health issues. I'd take someone who was positive and supportive over someone who is depressed and anxious any day regardless of how book smart or well read they are.

Her last album was beautiful and literary. The cringy lyrics were funny. I have no interest in other eras and never listened to her before midnights. Will like not like the "bangers" on the new album.

I love TTPD! It’s my favorite TS album.

+1. TTPD, Folklore & Evermore are her best work imo. Ironically all inspired by her anguish over the same man.

What does she talk to him about?? Other than sourdough bread, lol. It was downright embarrassing how she had to explain to him and his brother everything: who Hamlet and Shakespeare are, what Liz Taylor is famous for, what numerology means, what opal is, what half of the words in her vocabulary mean.

Pure cringe. Entering that Madonna and Cher washed up phase. Too old and spent, leads to desperation and overexposure.

I see a hot, confident, mega-talented, driven, billionaire woman in her mid 30s who is in the best place of her life so far. And that’s saying something.

You didn't notice her playing him up by putting herself down? Even his bread is better than hers. He's such a better athlete. She didn't even know who the the eagles coach was (he is friends with her dad, so she knew him). I get it's an act to sell an era and she is going no edge on this one. But I liked smart, arty Taylor better, even if that was an act too.

BTW, check out the leaked lyrics for Wood. Is her new "story" is that all she needed was really good " and she stopped being such an uppity, restless bossy woman?

If anything, I saw her being mildly annoyed that he was playing dumb and talking down about himself.

He is a weirdo for sure. Maybe she's mining him for some really good material.

More importantly, what does it say to the young GIRLS that she is choosing to settle with a “simpleton?”

Because I see it as her saying, sure you can talk about girls ruling the world, but in the end, we all just want to be curled up next to a man who has inherent disrespect towards women! (See his tweets)
