ECNLB:
- added new conference - Far West
GA:
- Formed alliance with MLSnext
- Created GA Aspire (tier II) with DPL
- Added McLean Youth Soccer (from ECNL)
To eliminate bias from your tracker you should add ECRL and reference ECRL teams moving accordingly. Adding something that exists in the other isn’t groundbreaking.
Actually McLean was the issue.
No bias. McClean held the badge.
No - McLean was ECNL-R. Union was (and still is moving forward) ECNL.
There was no Union ECNL without Mcleans badge.
There may not be a badge without McLean ….right?
I mean, how can you form an alliance and not club have a charter??
+1 Correct
Don't forget Brave was over wihout this so counting on ECNL extending them the charter is not realistic. Its going to MoCo ECNL team TBN

LETS GO!!! ECNL PROMOTED AN ENTIRE RL conference to ECNL!!!!
Take that GA and MLSN
Quantity does not supplant quality. I would shudder to think that they would promote all our ECNL RL teams to ECNL in Virginia. A lot of those teams were in NCSL 3rd division before being switched over, just to fill slots in the league. They are watering down their product.

Nobody is commenting because it smells like a desperation move by ECNL.
What made an entire league not good enough to be ECNL last season but good enough to be ECNL this season?

ECNL is just trying to lock down a certain geography before MLSN comes in. If most of these clubs are GA there's a good chance they'll all switch over and form a MLSN league next year or the year after.
Makes sense. Wonder if this move —moving an entire RL conference to NL will piss off some clubs…..
I'm sure it will, makes you think if this is one of their announcements, they must be running short of things to do.
