We’re 3 weeks in to an 8 week trial. For people who follow closely there have been developments, like yesterday’s video of Higgins at the police station in the middle of the night. If you’re waiting for a verdict, check back in June. The prosecution hasn’t rested their case and the defense has a long roster of witnesses.

Sounds like you’re better off sticking to the news than this forum.

Todays bombshell video of Higgins being caught perjuring himself last year and being suspicious in the middle of the night at the police station is the nail in the coffin — cover up, plain and simple

Wait, for real?

Sounds made up.

Folks, seriously I just watched the 30 for 30 documentary on OJ. If he wasn’t convicted, no way Karen Read will be. Way more physical evidence and pattern of violence in his case than hers.
If you're using the OJ trial as your standard, then no one should be convicted.

I’m just saying, stranger things have happened than KR being acquitted.

Yes, for real. She has done it repeatedly but Friday was over the top - it's all over X and Court TV and the reporters IN THE COURTROOM verified it is very obviously intentional.

Also Karen Read's daddy, Bill Read, former dean of Bentley University, was acting so inappropriately in court Friday making faces at witnesses and trying to engage jurors through facial expressions that the judge mandated a court officer sit right next to him like a babysitter to keep him from engaging in indecorous behavior in the courtroom. The entire afternoon he was babysat by a female court officer sitting right up next to him.

Better than Paul the cheater and Tara the psycho being rehomed to the back of the courtroom!

If KR is flipping the bird, what about Judge Bev and Hank?

As far as faces... how about Erin (who is getting cheated on) and Peg (court thought she was unfit to parent the kids in the first place) smirking and laughing at Karen?

Go back to 4 Chan. You’re a conspiracy theorist nutter. She’s not risking her freeedom to flip off her dead boyfriend’s mom in court, are you serious with this sh$t?

I’m not buying the middle finger being intentional without the context of what was being said at the time. She looks bored not p’d off. And she’s not one to hide her facial expressions.

Also don’t buy the babysitter statement without hearing it from the judge to direct someone to do it.

Same! And most if not all of them parents!

It honestly makes me sort of indifferent to the case because I feel like they all behaved stupidly and recklessly and could reasonably have expected something terrible to happen, if not that night, then some other night.
