During the live show when Joan was telling Guy she wanted to be friends and have double dates, the camera showed a young woman in the audience who seemed to be rolling her eyes. Did I imagine that or did anyone else see that?

Didn’t a legal issue emerge about him? Earlier in this thread?

I felt so bad for Giy when she broke up with him. He cried a lot! I hope he meets someone.

He was the only one who spoke of logistics, like he would retire and move. But I never had the feeling that she liked him. Also it's hard to know what she wants but I don't think it's a serious relationship and I don't think she'll have one with Chock.

She is just a big blank blah. I think Chock's life is more complicated than she knows. He still has teenagers, for one thing. I will be stunned if it lasts.

I hope the show runners learned something and if we get another iteration of GB, they make very different choices. For example, instead of the repetitive bs “such a life changing experience,” I would have loved to see Susan (who was sitting in the front row) comment on some clips). Also VET YOUR CAST FOR ONCE!

I know! Yes to all of this. You said exactly what I was thinking.

Chock was really tacky with the NYC apartment promise, like he was throwing money at her to win the prize, and he did. Reflected poorly on both of them.

I wonder if he got the same deal that Gerry got for Teresa's ring - basically "free" as long as they stay together for a year. I noticed that there were no over-the-top promotions or commercials for Lane jewelry last night like I think I remember from the Golden Bachelor.

Nope. Divorced after 12 years, then didn't marry after 8/9 years. Major red flags. Wanted to win.

Though he might be perfectly fine with a PT GF.
