College is a fraud kids! You're better off trying to play professional sports!
If every "student athlete" received a full ride scholarship. Then maybe playing sports in college would make sense.
However on most teams 1-3 have full rides 5-10 have partial scholarships and thebrest are paying to play.
Colleges are just being greedy. If students had more protections there wouldn't be unionization and NIL happening.
Don’t women’s college programs have 15 scholarships to give? Your numbers don’t add up. Stop spewing misinformation.
Maybe you need to educate yourself...

JFC. These girls should be going to college. Dreams don’t pay the bills honey.
Please show me where NCAA players are allowed to accept $$$ to play a sport in College. I'll wait...
College players are able to accept $$$ for their Name, Image, or Likeness. Which means if you're some kind of stand out as a college player you can represent different products and sell them.
I guess if you got a full ride scholarship you could break down tuition costs into an hourly wage while playing which in theory could represent a monetary value.
I can't believe you don't understand the distinction between amateur and professional athletes but are arguing that college is "better".
Soo Stupid.

She said...
"How much do you get paid to play in college?" I said nothing her immediate response was "then play professionally"
Pretty much says it all.
Did you tell her how much nwsl players make?
Does it matter?
I just asked a young competitive female soccer player an off the cuff question about what she would prefer and she said playing soccer for $$$.
How many young girls have you asked that responded that they dream about playing soccer in college? Oh yeah none.
Playing soccer in collge is a parents dream because it provides some from of payback for all the money they've spend on youth soccer.
Players dream about playing in front of the largest audience and making the most money while doing so.
