In 2 years half of BLC will join the best from YJMA, Pride and Stars to beat MnD DC. It doesn’t matter.

M&D DC picked up players from BLC Blue, Stars, and Pride. They also beat Pride last season in the NGLL- don’t think it’s out of reach that they are better than Pride at least
That’s not true. Best players will end up at CLC. CLC will be best club team for this age group in DC.
Re: the 2028s, are you talking about players who left their MoCo teams summer 2023 or earlier?
Clearly a lot of 2030’s already headed north. Did the 2029’s have the same thing occur?
I’m aware of 3. Not aware of any more.
CLC will be the best 2030 team in high school. I’ll be happy to reup this post in 2-3 years.
If you mean better than YJMA and MND DC in high school then I think that’s prob correct but they won’t be near the northern teams.
I think I agree all teams will be too thin competing with each other for talent and with some of best girls on those top teams already.
It will likely work the same as every other class. Capital will consolidate the remaining local talent and it will take some time for the new team to gel. But eventually they will be “near” the top teams of M&D Black, Hero’s, and Skywalkers. High school is all about recruiting and the good players will set their sights on these teams with the strongest recruiting history because there will be little appetite for risk taking considering the stakes. This has been the formula for success, but I suppose trying some experimental alternative could potentiality work?
With M&D and YJ building a presence at this age it might not work the same for CLC on the 2030s, particularly if they don’t pull the top players from those teams together.
MnD DC is building a strong 2029 team. We will get to see next summer if CLC can still pull the top talent in the DMV.
A lot of 2030 eyes and ears will be monitoring what happens with the MnD DC 29's. If they can keep their top girls then why not repeat the cycle for the 2030's. Will the SR coach try to pull any of her 2030's spread across YJ DMV and BLC? Was she involved with adding Prides 29's top girls this summer?
Assuming the 2029s do indeed sign up for guinea pig duty, which is unlikely, the 2030s would still need to see how recruiting for the 2029s goes. At that point they will be sophomores in high school just about to enter the most important year of their lacrosse lives! What do they do if the 2029s crash and burn? Just to get picked up by Capital fall of sophomore year? This is all crazy talk. Nobody seems to have thought it through.
The '29s will improve with their adds. BLC's top '29s are good players and adding just a
couple next year might be the difference between top 5 and top 10 for the recruiting years.
No idea what CLC's going to do with the '29s with what's available from Pride and Stars. Maybe just try to keep as many BLC as possible?
It's crazy to think the top M&D team will be in DC in a few years. I'm so excited!
M&D DC will be the top M&D team by the time the 2029s graduate from high school. The pieces are in place. Mark it down.
This is delusional. At best. The NL hype train is out of control. Fact: there is one good team in the entire club, and even they (the 2029s) can’t hang with the top 5-10 teams in age group. ALL other NL teams play in B divisions and brackets. It is all lies, smoke, mirrors, and empty promises. Amazing that people buy into their BS.
2029s went 0-9-1 against top 5 teams, and lost twice to Heros White last year. But believe what you want. Fact remains, too, that the 2029s are the only NL team that even plays in an A division. But again, believe what you want. It’s funny how triggered you are by the truth.
And you sure backed off that top 10 fact pretty quick, huh?
The posts you replied to were talking about the '29s. And yet you're so triggered you can't help yourself. Probably should worry more about how those '28s get started this fall.
The cap 28s will be real bad, so the 29s may follow in their footsteps.
What are you talking about? Pride was ranked 7th. They took those core players and strengthened them with kids from Stars and, yes, a couple from NL. Sorry your club can’t keep anyone past 8th grade.
Thanks for beating the dead horse. Pride didn’t keep anyone past 8th grade. Fall will show how little that number 7 ranking mattered. Maybe turn it down before that humble pie really sets in..
I'm a 2030 parent but I'll play since I know about the 2028s. You are correct Pride is overrated. Heros, Crush, and M&D are going to destroy CLC 28s.
Nonsense. These are not the NL 2029s. The Pride Red girls proved they could play and beat top MD programs. Again, NL needs a reality check.
What top MD programs did Pride Red beat and when? Waiting……..
I am not the PP but I believe they beat Skywalkers last season during NGLL regular season and they always play Hero’s very close.

Did M&D DC or Stars pickup any players?
Oh - what a burn from the NL dad. I love how the club with literally the least to brag about is acting like they are a top program now. What a freakin’ joke.

I'm a 2030 parent but I'll play since I know about the 2028s. You are correct Pride is overrated. Heros, Crush, and M&D are going to destroy CLC 28s.
