Geez, you'd think these kids were applying to Stanford.
Most of you wringing your hands over how thick the envelope will be and the like are the same types who will be writing your kids' college applications for them.

As a child, I would have been the child with the GBRS of 3 and a high WISC (I was very young for my grade, with a dec birthday, turning 5 half way through ) fact, instead of anything like AAP, I was held back in 2nd grade
you miss the point ma'am (or sir). It's not about the kid. It's about the parents who are posting. Their identity/social standing is tied to this result. It's bragging rights!
Hell the kid doesn't know and doesn't care.

I have heard that posting on DCUM significantly enhances your chances of admittance into GT on appeal.
That and paying the $450 for a private psychologist who knows exactly what you want the test results for.

People waiting for appeal results...just a bit of friendly advice...do not let this ruin your summer. There is no reason to stress about it, because your actions at this point will have zero impact on the child's application.

PP: not posting the scores is grounds for rejection
