Exactly!
Give her a minute. This is brand new info and I think it may change her position. And something I’m sure Aaron never fessed up to. You guys are so quick to judge. I’ll be super surprised if this isn’t the nail in the Ivey marriage coffin.
She’s not the monster here, but a victim as well.

Anonymous wrote:Do these men have no honor at all? It bad enough to be a lying scumbag on the DL from your wife and church, but if you have to do that, use a male escort or someone outside the church that you were supposed to be shepherding. No wonder why the christian church is in decline.

One of Aaron's victims came out yesterday - Aaron groomed and sexually abused him from ages 16-20, he met Aaron when he was 15. He is a son of a former elder at Austin Stone, which Austin Stone previously said in their public announcement when it all came out that the minor male involved wasn't connected to the church. So many lies.

I have no doubt she’s been highly hurt by this situation, but opting to stay with Aaron makes me look at her differently. Almost like she’s complicit. Aaron gets to keep his little happy family unit intact while his victims will have to live with what he did to them.
I doubt it's a little happy family unit, even if it remains intact.

How screwed in the head Jamie must be to think that her husband can “rehab” this away.
This is a deep cut but around the time that JH and BH announced their divorce the boys went on a rant about abusers in church. The families used to be close and I bet those kids are privy to a lot of these goingson.
