Here's something I don't understand.

If you think it was an intruder -- and I'm genuinely undecided -- how do you explain this: there was "touch DNA" on some of JonBenet's clothing items. But none of that DNA matched any of the intruder suspects -- like Santa or his wife. So if you think it was Santa, and you believe the DNA points to a non-family member, how do you reconcile that?

Also tell me if Patsy did commit the crime in her clothes she was wearing all night, don't you think she would dispose of the clothes before the police got there, i.e. in case there was evidence on her clothes? It makes no sense to leave an outfit on that you've committed a crime in.

The point of wearing that sweater is what though? She wanted to be festive on her early morning private plane trip? She was trying to save time so she just threw on whatever was close and that sweater was it? She was planning to visit people unshowered and in previously worn clothes from the evening before?

Or maybe she laid down in her clothes planning to get back up and prepare for the trip but wound up falling asleep and then rushing when she realized that she still had a ton to do. Or maybe she never went to bed at all.

An intruder with perverted motivations might try to make it seem financially motivated.

Anyway, I don't think the ransom note clearly points to the murdered. It's just a confusing piece of evidence. Probably because it was meant to mislead police.

Yeah the investigator Jim Smit said that was a pretty serious knot. He said he wasn't sure he could tie a knot like that. The killer had to know what s/he was doing....

OK this is weird. This article lists evidence taken from the crime scene. Including that JB was wearing a yellow ID bracelet that had her name and the date 12-25-96 on it. Her name and date of death, on a bracelet that she was wearing.

Who gave her the bracelet?
