Yes, girls from Cap Blue and Cap Orange are also recruited to the same colleges, and this happens every year. This year there are Dartmouth and Davison recruits from Cap Blue and Cap Orange. There are always girls on A teams and B teams with similar abilities.

Now that that is settled let me tell you that I am a little familiar and may just know a little something about the process seeing as I have had two go through it. Neither played for Capital one is at a high academic D1 the other at a NESAC so think what you will but there are others ways than Capital to be successful and that was the point...

Wow - what club?

They played for two different Baltimore area clubs one was A team the other on the B team. Did the clubs they played for matter I would say to a small point maybe but if your DD has the talent and they do what they need to do like send out emails to target schools with highlights the coaches will come and watch regardless of what field or club they play for.

Stars has a VCU commit as does Skywalker Blue. And they have a Tampa Commit as does MD United. So it is possible to be recruited by the same schools as the higher ranked clubs. The big difference will be the number of coaches on the sidelines. And Capital does get the coaches there. The rest is up to the players and their parents. Girls from lower ranked clubs have to work more to get noticed and it is a harder road. Stars players seemed to have understood this and put the work in to get noticed. Good for them.

SSSAS players from the same school who are also friends! So cool! Things don’t always seem as they appear! Everyone is super excited for these players, as Rhodes is an incredible top liberal arts school near Memphis! Congratulations to these two amazing young ladies!

Thank you to whoever diligently kept up with the lists and included so many clubs and their rankings. It is certainly interesting to look at it from that perspective. Seeing similarly ranked clubs and where their girls went as well as looking at top ten clubs, top 50, top 100 and top 200.

Congratulations to all the local girls in the DMV area who are continuing on to play no matter what level.
