2013 had a rough tournament
2012 lost in semis
2011 lost in finals on pks
Doesn’t seem that bad.
What tournament? Not aware there was a GA tournament this weekend? Is this on play station? lol
2013 and 2011 won by RL teams. GA domination will have to wait.
Arl parent here the 11 RL team are recent US Club national champions and suspect they would do very well in the GA league.
Are kids still choosing to play RL over GA or ECNL?
Depends on whether you are willing to commute to a club that may not be in your state/county. Some families may not want to travel to play GA/ECNL N.
Girls choose RL for the commute, not the Competition.

Anonymous wrote:NVA might be the biggest scam job. They have a tiered set up where Loudoun is the only feeder club so you can be on the RL team at LSC and still be on the "top" team. You get a fake mls next badge to show off, even though you aren't in MLS Next. Then there is this NVA thing, which is a wannabe VDA team where they can claim they are a unique set up.
Stop getting baited by these idiots. Girls teams got gutted with many of them moving to VDA. GA for girls is like ECNL is for boys, elite, but not top tier. Revolution is a joke today, but LSC will loose a lot of players to them.

Loudoun's 2013 girls already showcasing the mess of a year they are about to have. No hate to the players. This is 100% the club throwing their second and third teams to the wolves in the name of social media posts and bragging rights about a National (GA) pathway/program to trying to appease the ECNL/RL girl parents to not leave the club.
The younger pre-GA teams aren't performing much better playing in their bottom brackets so it's not a single age group problem.
1. Its the first tournament of the season, how can anyone draw conclusions
2. There are perfectly normal game
Scores, they aren't losing 10-0
problem is that U11 girls(red) lost all their games. and U10, U9 did not do well either. it's systematic issue that is foreshadowing what will be in couple years unless things change. These girls will be NVA in few years and future NVA will not be able to compete.
You’re are definitely on to something. Now that there’s multiple options in the county I would think NVA/Loudoun will be losing talent to other local clubs in the younger age groups. The next few years will be very interesting!
With that said the boys did fine so who cares?! Amirite?!

Eventually, there is a risk of them getting moved to Aspire, which would prompt the end of NVA as I would anticipate Loudoun wanting to keep their brand vs NVA. Also, if any of the rumors are true about another club in the area going GA, then it is conceivable that they would want to make more room. All speculation but seems pretty probable.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:2012 GA lost to a usys team
You talking about the 2nd team? Oh wow the 2nd team lost to a USYS team, big deal.
GA is Loudouns top team.
NVA is the clubs top team, the Loudoun team is largely the RL (2nd) team. How are people still confused about this, it's not that hard to understand.
Ummm, NVA GA is now full of the previous RL players with a few ECNL that stayed. Loudoun GA is mostly bench RL players mixed in with Loudoun Red players. Loudoun Aspire is players from Loudoun Red and Black. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding.
If this is the case, I would expect NVA to do well across most age groups.
Not even remotely correct especially in the older age groups.
Almost the entire 09 NVA team left for ECNL clubs.
