She said they are very, very worried about what will happen when summer break happens in a few weeks (they get out in May). Their school district participates (participated?) in a summer food program where food insecure families signed up to receive weekly food sent directly to their homes. Last summer they shipped 2200 boxes of food every other week. The summer food program was federally funded through a contract that no longer exists.

Mistake. They think it was a mistake. They think this was an honest mistake that he'll quickly fix if he only knew about it.
HOW CAN THEY STILL BE SO BLIND & CLUELESS? It's mindboggling.
Google “If only the Fuehrer knew”. Under Biden, their kids had full bellies. Under Trump, those bellies are hungry. You’d think that’d be enough, but it’s amazing the mental gymnastics some people can do. If they only put that hard thinking work at play in their every day lives, maybe their kids wouldn’t be going hungry.
Look, Trump warned us there would be an adjustment period. Once all of the people here illegally are deported, there will be jobs galore, he’s going to bring coal back, food prices will fall, tariffs will have the government swimming in money. Just you wait and see.

Apparently the whole state of West Virginia is heavily dependent on federal aid, and Trump won by a landslide.
All I know is that I am not donating on cent to West Virginia or any other state that voted Republican in this election.
I’m not suggesting that you should donate money to West Virginians, but keep in mind that almost none of the schoolchildren were eligible to vote and they’re the ones going hungry.
Their lazy parents need to get off their duffs and get jobs. Also raise chickens and plant vegetables. Problem solved.

There are plenty of people who are going hungry in my blue state right close by me. And plenty of Democrats living in red states who need help with their medical bills.
I'm sorry West Virginia parents don't care if their kids get food or not.
It is now up to West Virginains and coal.mine owners and conservatives to make up the difference.
You know there are some West Virginians who voted for Harris and some people in your blue state who voted for Trump, right?
Yes. But it's what 70% of West Virginians voted for. I'm sure there are a few good people in West Virginia who will try to help. Republican evangelicals should really get on that.
You can not assume Democrats and progressive Christians will be able to turn this around this time.
If conservatives are upset by all Trump's "accomplishments" then they need to start providing charity to the children and women and farmers and whoever else is effected.
Plenty of evangelicals and conservative Catholics need to start practicing what they preach. Democrats and the federal government aren't able to save you this time.
