Pretty much says it all.

So stupid.

Ask the same 14 year old how they’ll live on $40,000 a year.

Also, by this time, if your 14 year old isn’t on any USNT radar she isn’t on track to play pro.

Be a parent.

Does't change the fact that she chose to play professionally.

Get it through your thick money grubber head.

She’s 14. She’s chosen nothing. Please.

The question was "what do girls dream about? Playing professionally or in college."

It's been proven that they don't dream about playing in college and thay they do dream about playing professionally.

You love moving the goal posts.

If you had to ask and she replied who gets paid more, then she isn’t dreaming about professional soccer.

Again, she is 14 and you’re misleading her because you have a twisted desire to “win” a forum debate.

Trust me nobody wins talking you you.

JFC. These girls should be going to college. Dreams don’t pay the bills honey.

Please show me where NCAA players are allowed to accept $$$ to play a sport in College. I'll wait...

College players are able to accept $$$ for their Name, Image, or Likeness. Which means if you're some kind of stand out as a college player you can represent different products and sell them.

I guess if you got a full ride scholarship you could break down tuition costs into an hourly wage while playing which in theory could represent a monetary value.

I can't believe you don't understand the distinction between amateur and professional athletes but are arguing that college is "better".

Soo Stupid.

Scholarship is the pay. And if you can’t see that college is better for all but about 20 girls a year then you are crazy.

Did you tell her how much nwsl players make?

Does it matter?

I just asked a young competitive female soccer player an off the cuff question about what she would prefer and she said playing soccer for $$$.

How many young girls have you asked that responded that they dream about playing soccer in college? Oh yeah none.

Playing soccer in collge is a parents dream because it provides some from of payback for all the money they've spend on youth soccer.

Players dream about playing in front of the largest audience and making the most money while doing so.

You didn’t tell her the whole truth though. How pathetic of you manipulating your daughter.
