I don't think BB's relationship with the au pair is even speculation at this point. His history of infidelity along with the au pair's instagram photos seem to be pretty damning evidence of a relationship...

Yes, she did. Maybe 2 previous au pairs of theirs married. Juliana decided not to look outside the home. She was their first au pair to extend, I believe and went public with the affair at that point.

Maybe CB felt like it was something she needed to do to keep him. Maybe it was linked to his birthday, the day before the murders. He kept moving the goal posts in a very sick, manipulative way in their relationship, dehumanizing her. Whether she consciously was aware of this affair yet or not, on some level she had to pick up the "sister wives" vibe in her own home. She likely felt desperate. His appearance had changed, so often a sign of an affair in midlife. Maybe they had always been swingers but she doesn't really seem the type. She was clinging to an illusion, much like AP is now.

She had been quite heavy when young and may have been insecure and having a cheating husband likely did not help her self esteem. She had moved far from family and lifelong friends. He had a lot of control over her emotionally is my guess. I doubt she agreed to him f&cking her child's caregiver in her own home, maybe marital bed. And flaunting her at a gym she also likely frequented.

Still, I'm certain she would not have killed for him, that AP is ride or die and all about the $$$. Does she even realize they burned down the life she thought she was stepping into? Clock was ticking in the final year of the J-1, is she still so caught up in delusions? 3 months behind bars may be a needed reality check.
