ITA This bag has been a basic b1tch bag for at least the last 25 years. I wouldn't have been caught dead with it when I was 22 and had my first real jobs nd I wouldn't be caught dead with it now.

The Neverfull came out in 2007, so it hasn’t been around for anywhere close to 25 years.

I have the Damier Ebene and love it. Great purchase. I use it all the time for work. I don’t have to worry about it in the rain and don’t have to baby it. I have some leather bags that I actually really dislike now after getting used to the durability of the LV canvas.

Also, at first I thought the clutch that comes with it was useless and I was going to consign it (you can sell it for like $400+ online). But DH convinced me not to and he was right. I use it ALL the time. So handy.

Buy what you want.

Here’s the thing though- a nice, high-quality leather bag is not as durable as a Neverfull. Leather softens, scratches, the edges get rubbed/worn. You can throw a Neverfull under airplane seats, on the ground, etc. I’ve owned tons of bags over the years. Nothing beats these for durability. They are not fashionable. They are basic and even tacky, but you’re not going to find a bag that lasts as long.

I still have my Jansport backpack from high school so… I disagree.

I finally gave in to the urge two years ago and got myself a MM Damier Azure NF. It's my most used bag and I have no regrets.
