Interesting article, since we're basing our opinions only on unscientific data points, what does this tell us?
Of the 346 fully vaccinated cases, median age was 42, and 87% were men.
It tells us that middle-aged gay men partied in Provincetown on July 4th, assuming that being fully-vaccinated was sufficient to protect them from getting/spreading COVID and, as a result, we now all know that is not (or is no longer) true given the Delta variant. This is one reason why the CDC is advocating a return to indoor masking even among the vaccinated.

+1 I don’t buy it.

That is people need to test, even if they think it is allergies.
If I follow your advice I would have to test weekly.
Yes, so?
DP here. Not gonna happen. Thankfully my kids don’t run fevers and the school symptom checker asks about “new symptoms not attributable to another condition.” So I just click no to that. I’m not testing for super mild symptoms because the symptom checker also asks if you have a Covid test pending and saying yes excludes you from school. Lots of reasons not to test for mild symptoms.

WTF? If you are symptomatic you need to stay away from other people or you can spread it. Full stop.
I’m the pp and every minor nasal thing anyone in my family has from here on our is going to be “allergies.” I’m not testing a damn thing unless forced, including for school. So put that in your pipe and smoke it. I’m pro vax and pro mask but enough is enough.
Your ridiculous toddler tantrum is duly noted.

I don't know what to think about it, but a year and a half of lockdowns in Canada did not work. It scared the population out of their minds, my friend won't hand out inside, eat on a patio for fear of covid! Vaccinated with Moderna all in her family.
But she gave me a bowl of strawberries she cut! So I guess she is only worried about me infecting her? I am also fully vaccainted.
I suspect elections are looming and people, even timid Canadians had enough. Though, their enough has no limits, tbh!

Huh? How is it almost August 2021 and you still don't understand that "the strawberries she cut" are not your risk factor, but the shared air you breathe?
Anonymous wrote:This post reads like someone wanted to start yet another thread to "wear your mask!" and invented a story to get the ball rolling. I've had my family tested numerous times for coughs and sniffles and its never been Covid. There are still other viruses out there. Sorry, just not buying this one.

But this is why people need to stay home if they are sniffling or coughing. Or at least mask up. OP is not the first person that I’ve heard of who learned their “just allergies” were “just mild Covid”. OP, someone like you visited my dad’s nursing home and infected a resident. Now none of us can visit our loved ones.
