This bottom is a lot better than the first one you posted. It has more coverage, that little bit makes a huge difference.

What is the top like and are you super busty? If you are small busted I think some cheek is fine. But if you are a DDD spilling out of a tiny triangle too plus the cheeks, that would be too much (for me). But I wouldn’t judge any mom negatively for what she wore to the beach/pool while enjoying time with her kids.

OP this is all about tolerance. You will get looks and be judged but if you have the confidence to not give a damn then wear it!

If on the other hand you won’t tolerate it well, don’t wear it.

This clearly comes up near the navel. I don’t know why people find the back cut-out so scandalous. It doesn’t show crack.


Too much cheek for community pool, but great for the beach.


I think the “community” encompasses people who don’t want to entirely swath their asses in Lycra.

Yes. Quite honestly it looks a bit diaper-like to me. I don’t understand how this is scandalous in the least.

I wear more bc I feel strange being around the dads in what is basically underwear. For some reason, I’d feel fine at the beach but it would feel intense where I know a lot of people.


Are you trying to seduce the other dads? I can’t imagine this carrying any weight in my decision making process.

I wear more bc I feel strange being around the dads in what is basically underwear. For some reason, I’d feel fine at the beach but it would feel intense where I know a lot of people.


Haha, I feel the same. I go to the beech in tiny bikinis but I feel weird at the pool because I feel like I'm in my underwear around all of my kid's friends and kid's friend's parents. But you do you OP. Here are some swimsuits I wear to the community pool and don't feel frumpy at all:

I bought a tanktini, because something like this would feel odd to wear.

I’m not against others wearing it, though.

This year, I may also buy a bikini, because I want to try one out before I get too old.

This X 1 million. I could care less if my husband looks at you. My only thought was that this style is impractical because wit will cause wedgies and lead us pulling and tugging . Really just another in a long line of bad trends from the fashion industry
