If coaches show up and your kid is playing what do you care?
Also, you should probably start to read the room. Most here think it will work out for your kid. You are free to not believe it but ultimately we really don’t care about your kid or you at this point.
So, feel free to disagree and also feel free to just go away with what most believe is nothing more than a problem in your own head.
It ia a soccer forum to discuss issues. You are the one with no issues wasting your time in here. Go back to your fantasy world of youth soccer perfection and enjoy.
You are projecting a problem. People here are trying to be supportive and reassure you that your kid will be seen.
If your kid can’t get on the field and isn’t a starter then whose GD fault is that?
It is a simple way to improve the event. No need for foul language. Relax.
The event has no bearing on player usage.

Can the showcase events please just be self contained and not have the results used for other considerations and if that is asking too much than just do this for u16 and up or even just u17 and up. That is all. Very simple and easy. Thank you.
Only the teams teetering on the bottom have this mentality.
Incorrect and what is your rational for that? Competitive teams still have players that need to showcase.... especially after the crappy year everyone just had.

Can’t get any closer unless it’s in VA itself.
The issue is can they please do a real showcase format where the results do not count towards any type of standings.
These don't matter for any post-season standings. If you find otherwise, please share link.
Post season standings on ECNL website. And yes they do count toward standings.
The event does not select the roster.
Hello. The event sets the rules of competition.

Teams from northwest attending as well as pretty much every major ECNL club in the country. I'd say both players and scouts/coaches are thirsty for top competition and this is a sensational warm-up for ECNL finals in a month. North Carolina will be a great host... no shade to NJ still working through issues. No tournament winners obviously, but this will be big for clubs.
