Do you honestly feel that way? You really think that anyone, ANYONE deserves to lose a child? Wow.
NP here. I don’t think anyone deserves to lose a child but I will say the first thing that popped into my head after I saw the drowning headline was karma.
There is something so viscerally evil about taking a newborn baby away from his mother. The way Megan and Bode went about getting custody of Samuel was inhumane. They literally ripped a newborn baby from his mothers arms and stole him using legal loopholes and dishonesty. Sure, eventually after a huge court battle his mother got custody again but the suffering she went through is unimaginable. And it was all intentional and a conscious choice made by Megan and Bode.
In one way or another, you get what put out in the world. I’ll say it. Megan inflicted the pain of losing a child on another mother and it came back to her tenfold. She said that Samuel’s mother wasn’t able to devote the time to care for him and in the end Megan’s own child died from her own carelessness. If that’s not karma, I don’t know what is.

Yep. And she was pregnant with his child at the same time but miscarried. So decided to steal the living child. It was a whole series of court cases. Bode and Megan filed for emergency custody (citing that the real mother was constantly working - she was a firefighter/EMT) and they got custody of a newborn for THREE MONTHS. Three months in which they changed his name. His mother had to wait that whole time for a New York judge to reverse the decision and get her baby back.
What a nightmare. SHocking that judge would even do that to a mother. Awful.

I read the article. Absolutely sickening what Bode and Morgan did to Sara.

The judge was a POS too.
Yes probably with a axe to grind. Most legal experts thought this was a far overreach and abuse of law.
I think she ended up with full custody last I read. I wouldn't want the wife watching my kid after she was talking to adults not supervising her child around a pool.
I don’t think Sara Mc Kenna has full custody. Her son is still trotted out for all the pictures of the brood. I hope they’re at least calling him by his proper name now.

And professional athletes are not known for good financial management of assists earned while they are in their 20s.
Weird things Happen when tragic things happen to families. It’s never fullly predictable what that weird thing is gonna be, but sometimes, it’s this. Seven kids is not normal.
I wouldn't put them in either category. He's got child support to his first wife's kids, 5 kids under 7 with his new wife (who doesn't work), and ski income from competitions only half the year. They've had to move several times and its always to a less expensive property.
He sold his house in Coto de Carza for $4.2M in 2016 - a $200K loss since he paid $4.4M for it in 2013. He was renting a $2.4M house in 2018 when his daughter drowned next door, he left and the owners sold that house in 2019.
He then moved to Spanish Forks, Montana where he essentially was hired as the athletic director for a ski lodge. Comes with free housing and with 6 kids...you go where the housing is free.
