It’s gotta be fun. If playing time is what makes your kid happy, I strongly suggest you find it. I was the same way when I was a kid and really struggled when I was a late grower. We did not have the options kids do now. There is certainly a good first team at a local club where a top team player from any top club can get full playing time.
