I think it's worse that Khloe has her old face - they're so clearly depicting images that don't exist and are impossible, profiting off it it, and women are contacting plastic surgeons because of the Kardashian deception.
The whole family is scum of the earth.
It is so typical of our society to blame a family full of women using the system to their advantage (to stratospheric success no less) than to blame the misogynistic society that they simply learned to take advantage of for being so misogynistic.
All the Kardashians did was lean HARD into what was already there. And power to them, if I could become a billionaire by letting the world see me have sex one time and taking sexy pictures of myself (while also working really hard on a bunch of parallel businesses and revenue streams) than I sure as hell would too.
Oh come on - can can be responsible for hurting other women. Who cares about the porn or the sexy selfies? It's the promoting (and profiting) of fake images, a reality that does.not.exist., that is disgusting and appalling. Women can be responsible for causing harm - the Kardashians are definitely opportunists, which is fine. But they're also scam artists in the way they distort what they really look like and promote 'ideals' that don't exist. They are horrible human beings for the manipulation part, no the opportunism part.
How are they scam artists? I don't think they misrepresent anything. They don't pretend not to photoshop. This is an unflattering picture and it is not surprising at all she wants it taken down. And that isn't to say she looks terrible or anything but I wouldn't like that picture of myself either.
Kim sells sex and she also sells shapeware. Good quality shapeware from all accounts. Khloe sells jeans that have a lot of plus sizes and inclusiveness in their promotions. Kylie sells makeup.
None of them act like it is easy to look like they look or effortless. Kim posts about her workout routine all the time. They do not sell some fake exercise program designed to steal from people. They sell an image that is about using makeup and clothes to look good.
Do I think they frequently look pretty plastic? Yes. Do I think that their pictures contribute to body image issues for young women? No more than any fashion show or magazine or movie or television show TBH. The whole world runs on making women feel bad about their bodies, I'm going to save my hate for the men that keep the system spinning, not the women taking their cut off the top.
