Would you eat out with unvaccinated kids when parents are vaccinated?
Absolutely. Covid is not particularly dangerous for kids. Once adults are vaccinated it’s hard to to justify restrictions on children.
Well, here's the thing. While you are toting your kids out and about, not worried because YOU are vaccinated, your children can catch and spread covid to a lot of people who are NOT vaccinated yet. Thus, the warnings about maintaining distancing and masking and so on until the pandemic is truly under control and more people are vaccinated. To only think of yourself and your children is exactly what people mean when they say you are selfish.
What does that look like? Kids won’t be vaccinated for a long time. Once the elderly and high risk are vaccinated, what’s the harm?
Perhaps you haven't heard that there are many people who can't get vaccinated because they are immune-compromised. And many children are also immune-compromised. Moreover, we are talking about right now, when 80% of adults have not been vaccinated, including many who are still high risk but didn't qualify for the first round of vaccines or haven't been able to get an appt.

We don't need a vaccine to get us out of this pandemic and back to normal, we need to hand out more Xanax.

When the restaurants were closed in our county, we went to other counties to eat. There are always lots of other people there.
Face it; while you were hiding at home, the majority of people were out enjoying their lives. If it helps you to say that you were unselfish and considerate of others (or in reverse that we were selfish) by all means.
I'm just happy we didn't throw away a year of our lives.
You are selfish and you are raising entitled brats
Sure, like I said if it helps you just keep telling yourself that you are a more virtuous person than I am. I have zero regrets and I am happy that we haven't been living in fear.
+1
A lot of these posters would be the ones calling for adulterers to be burned at the stake, back in the day. It has nothing to do with public health- they just want to be able to shame and chastise with impunity.

We’re not vaccinated yet either.
