OP here. That’s not most peoples experience. I plan to sleep train when baby hits 4-6 months if needed. I have friends who all sleep trained and had their kids in their cribs by 6 months old. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t use a crib.

I miss my pre kid view of the world. It was so innocent.

OP here. Why is my view “ innocent”. I was a nanny for over 10 years. I have lots of experience with babies and feel sleep training is important to teach your child how to sleep. I will be implementing a schedule when appropriate and sleep training between 4-6 months if my baby needs it.

LOL

Why is this lol? Plenty of working and SAHP sleep train successfully at this time. When it's over we say " we're on the other side "

And many working and SAHP find out their best laid parenting plans didn’t work out for their actual kids.

It will be your own child, 24/7 til college, nanny. It’s different. Remarkably.

Well I still think OP should just buy used. The fact you plan to use it many years is nonresponsive.
