What should we say about NOVA ECNL with Loudoun virtually losing every age group with one exception systematically amd BRYC just doing about the same thing? Please elaborate
GA won’t even be a player in two years. I’m not talking smack. I truly believe that.
In the 15th century, people believed the Earth was flat. Some still do.

How many D1 college coaches watch EDP showcases?
EDP in NOVA is not the same as EDP in regions were there are no ECNL or GA options for the players.
How many ECNL girls got called up to the U17 camp and how many does that equate to per ECNL club?
Actually, quite a few from Northern VA.
All FCVs
HA! HA! HA! That’s really funny. Good platitude though.
So one FCV team has more call ups than all of NOVA ECNL clubs combined.
VDA had one. Who else besides FCV?
correct. We will ride the wave of super athlete as long as we can until we start losing. Then we will rethink technical skills.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:^^^ I say the above as someone who considered moving to the club.
You can have all the technical skills, but if you don't know how or when to use them or aren't willing to take a chance, then they don't work. So while i appreciate technical skills you have to know when to use them. Frankly their 06 team is good but the other teams are not. They play too slow so they are in EDP division 3 or 4
This is hilarious. As a nation we lack a strong base of technical skills. See youth wins and rankings for why.

At the 05 level, Coppermine in BaCo and MSI in MoCo are competitive teams. OPSA doesn't have teams at every age group but those that do compete are elite. Herndon has competitive teams at the across various age groups.
To be realistic, ECNL and, to a lesser extent, GA offer better platforms that EDP. DI and YNT scouts are not going further than ECNL or GA showcases. Maybe some might go to JefCup.
Who is FCGB? Not being obnoxious but I am not familiar with them. Looks like a MD club and we are VA but I dont think we have encountered them. The rest of the teams I know. Biggest difference between them and ecnl teams I have seen is that the ECNL teams tend to have a couple players a lot better. The rest of the players on an edp or other strong team may be close to the rest of an ecnl team but the non ecnl teams lack the couple top kids. p.s. rereading you said 06 and 07 fcgb are strong. We are 05 so maybe that is it.
