I don't understand how thousands of FCPS have rare health conditions that don't afflict every other teaching community in the country.
They don't have a rare diseases. They have the health conditions that were listed by the CDC as individuals that needed to be more careful during the pandemic.

Anonymous wrote:If teachers are refusing to teach from the classroom they should
1) NOT be allowed to get the vaccine
2) Be fired
There really should be zero need for monitors.

You are effectively saying pregnant women and people with cancer should be fired. Losers. Replete losers.
Sweetie, your vacation is over. It's time for you to go back to work.

No. But if they already have a ADA waiver to work from home because of their health it’s irrelevant. That is granted for the duration of the year. Pregnant women have it because it’s been very unclear how CoVID OR the vaccine could affect a baby. Y’all need to just chill. We have the staff to go back. People with health issues are not your enemies smh it’s so pathetic

Okay genius. Here’s why you need monitors. Because you’ve decided to be obtuse.
Teacher goes in unvaccinated. Contracts CoVID. Or is a close contact with someone positive and has to quarantine. Whoops. She has to teach from home for 2 weeks. In person kids need a monitor.
Teacher kids go to school. THEY get exposed and / or infected. She has to take leave to stay home with them. Maybe can teach at home... BUT IN PERSON KIDS NEED MONITORS
Your retributive and punitive cruelty to feel better only hurts you and YOUR KIDS. No monitors, have fun staying DL.
Teachers will be vaccinated by the time school is in-person. There is no issue here, and certainly no need for monitors.
