Look, you seem really confused. Teachers will be vaccinated. Kids have the choice to stay home.
Actually, yeah I’m having trouble following the logic. You want your kids in school, come up with whatever metrics you’re comfortable with. Those metrics aren’t there, then continue DL’ing.
Again, not sure why you didn't put your kid in DL since you are so afraid. Its not too late. They can't make you send your child to school. The principal will switch you. Just call.

Put your LOA/ADA comment inside your rectum. The school district is denying many of them because otherwise there aren’t enough bodies to get the system rolling.
I’m too lucky I’m friends with my principal and I got appointed to remain DL so I can avoid bringing the virus to my newborn.
There are no death camps, no matter how much you repeat this trope. And teachers are being vaccinated. Enjoy your maternity leave, and maybe seek treatment for your anxiety.

KIDS WOULD NOT. Our metrics today are 836/100k and 15.5. More contagious variants are here. We think it’s okay to send KIDS in with those numbers because the board just doesn’t want to deal with them anymore? Why did ever have them to begin with of THOSE numbers are ok?
Sure. Covid isn't any more dangerous to kids than other common viruses. If parents aren't OK with it, they can keep their kids home.
A. Kids can catch it and take it home to their families.
B. Keeping your kids home in elementary means forgoing live instruction or switching to the distance class because it’s a pure hybrid split. That is not a solution .
C. Parents picked based on the belief they would hold to their own metrics. Now when they’re highest they’re going to throw them out. If violates my trust as a parent that they will keep kids safe by doing this. We were misled.
Well, I don't know what to tell you. If you follow the various board members on social media, it definitely seems like they are going to vote to go back the minute they can finish the vaccination POD. You should prepare yourself.
I am fully aware . I’m just calling bullshit on it. It’s a slimy choice that isn’t safe for kids.
I'm not sure why you chose hybrd if you don't want your kid to go to school. Every single parent I know who chose hybrid is happy about this news.
I had to because of my job but I’m pissed that they PAUSED in person for 2.5 months for numbers lower than this only to now be like “we don’t need them after all.” with spread that bad it’s hard to see how kids are actually safer in school. I trusted the board to follow their OWN metrics to guide safety. Now I see they won’t and I can either send my kids in with spread that bad or switch them to an entirely different class. It sucks. You probably know the denier parents who think kids are immune and don’t spread it so of course they don’t care.

Anyone who doesn’t like it can switch to DL. Yes, even now.

No, but I can count votes. And we have enough.
Expect an increase in taxes when the lawsuits start decimating LCPS’ accounts for this negligence.
